DR. FUZZ

Dr. Fuzz was on death row when our friends at DakodaLove Pet Project pulled him. Stewie to the Rescue! found him a foster home. We also helped pay for his surgery when he had a freak accident, breaking his leg. The great news is, not only is Dr. Fuzz on the mend, but his foster dad has decided to adopt him!

RIVER

I found this nine pound pup in her carrying case in Riverside Park, not wearing any collar or tags of any sort.  She was scared and emaciated (her ribs stuck out). Harris and Josie have been fostering her for the past few weeks. She's gaining weight and has even started to play with our 60 pound pittie Kilo. We have named her River (due to where we found her and, well, how much she pees in our apartment).

BUDDY

Buddy is a 1  yr old chihuahua, rescued from a very neglectful home. He spent most of his days in a crate or alone in the backyard. He was often teased by the teenage boy in the house and sometimes even the adults who thought it was funny to see him get crazy. He had bitten a few people in the house by the time he was rescued.

Stewie to the Rescue has helped pay for Buddy to be rehabilitated at Elite Trainers of America, where he has been for the past few months. He has made so much progress that he is now ready to be adopted.

AN EMAIL FROM THE RESCUE THAT SAVED BUDDY -

Harris, Thank you so much to you and your group for helping with Buddy's rehab -I hope we can find him the right owner who will love him as he should be. Groups like yours are SO needed by the smaller rescues. If I can ever be of help to you please let me know. Thank you, thank you again.

COCO

Two year old Coco was rescued from the euthanasia list after being surrendered by her owner due to housing restrictions. Stewie to the Rescue found a foster home (thanks Roxanne!) and then a forever home the very next day! (If only they could all be like that!)
